Fun Fieldtrips!!
Most of the students are more hands on and visual learners. I find that fieldtrips are good for the students and help them gain a better understanding for the material. In the past we have gone to Apple Holler and went through the corn maze. Every stop we reached the students had to answer a math problem or a science problem correctly before we moved on. The students really enjoyed the activity and were determined to get the answer right to move on.
We also like to do in-school trips and do different activities without having to go very far. The students seem to get a better grasp when they can visualize the task and are able to do it in a manner that is more fun.
